Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Epic PB build experience in a live environment.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows, charge capture, and claims processing.
• Experience with Epic testing methodologies and change control processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in San Diego, CA 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain build within the Epic Professional Billing application.
• Analyze workflows and translate business requirements into system build specifications.
• Perform unit, integrated, and end-to-end testing for PB builds, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to charge capture, claims, and billing workflows.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership, coding, and compliance teams to align system configuration with organizational policy and payer requirements.
• Participate in Epic upgrades, including regression testing and new feature evaluation.
• Document build decisions, workflows, and system configurations.
• Provide go-live and post-go-live support, including at-the-elbow assistance as needed.

The ideal candidate has active Epic PB certification and hands-on build experience within a live production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain build within the Epic Professional Billing application
• Analyze workflows and translate business requirements into system build specifications
• Perform unit, integrated, and end-to-end testing for PB builds, upgrades, and enhancements
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to charge capture, claims, and billing workflows
• Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership, coding, and compliance teams to align system configuration with organizational policy and payer requirements
