ECU Health is seeking a Patient Access Program Manager to join the Patient Access Corporate Services team. The PM will provide subject matter expertise to ensure compliance with federal, state, local and organizational guidelines related to registration, scheduling, referrals, authorizations and point of service collections.

The role leads implementation and optimization of Epic Vendor applications such as Cadence/Prelude, Scheduling, Referrals, Real Time Eligibility, and other non-clinical

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or Business Analytics.
• 5 years of Revenue Cycle experience in a tertiary care setting.
• One additional year of leadership or management experience in a health care or related setting may substitute for one year of education with a maximum substitution of two years.
• Knowledge of healthcare-based applications.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to be flexible and collaborative to identify and solve problems.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure adaption and compliance of existing systems, standards and processes.
• Partner with leaders to redesign and implement system enhancements to meet changing business and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and recommend opportunities to leverage existing applications and equipment and/or new technologies.
• Provide sound analytics and solutions around general reimbursement trends and access barriers.
• Monitor and report program performance and KPIs against industry standards.
• Develop and implement SOPs, work instructions, reference documents, business rules and training materials.
• Lead organization systems for designing and measuring work processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings and communications.
• Coordinate post-implementation audits to ensure systems are fully utilized.
• Lead Epic Vendor applications implementations (Cadence/Prelude, Scheduling, Referrals, Real Time Eligibility) and other non-clinical systems.
