Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking an Application Analyst II to support Epic MyChart and related Epic applications across clinic operations. The role includes technical application support, testing, upgrades, and user training to enhance patient engagement and secure data exchange.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Required: Bachelor's degree in healthcare, IT, or related field; equivalent experience
• Required: Certification in Epic MyChart
• Required: 2 years of IT experience, preferably in healthcare
• Familiarity with HIPAA and data security for patient portals
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of ambulatory and patient engagement workflows in MyChart
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary resource for Epic MyChart application support, including design, build, testing, and optimization of patient-facing workflows such as scheduling, eCheck-in, secure messaging, and telehealth
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to gather requirements and align MyChart configuration with care access strategies
• Support MyChart integrations and interoperability with external systems and patient-generated data
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MyChart functionality and end-user workflows
• Oversee MyChart upgrades, enhancements, and configuration changes with IT and vendors
• Monitor interfaces ensuring timely data transmission (appointments, results, communications, patient-entered data)
• Develop MyChart documentation, training materials, and workflow guides
• Train clinical staff, operational teams and patients using MyChart features
• Ensure regulatory compliance including HIPAA and data security
