Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach seeks an Epic MyChart/Cadence Analyst to support, optimize, and implement Epic MyChart and Cadence solutions. You will collaborate with clinicians, operations, and IT to improve workflows and application utilization, participate in upgrades, testing, and incident management.

The role requires Epic MyChart Certification, 3+ years of Epic experience with MyChart and Cadence, and strong analytical problem-solving in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Epic MyChart Certification required.
• 3+ years supporting, implementing, or optimizing Epic applications.
• Experience with MyChart and Cadence build, configuration, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Experience gathering business and clinical requirements and workflow analysis.
• Experience developing and executing system testing plans and validating releases.
• Experience with incident/change/service-request management in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and optimization of Epic MyChart and Cadence.
• Analyze workflows to identify process improvements and better system utilization.
• Evaluate releases and upgrades; implement approved solutions.
• Configure, test, and document enhancements, upgrades, and patches.
• Develop system test plans and document testing progress.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and changes per processes.
• Provide on-call support as assigned.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure integrations meet needs.
• Communicate issues, upgrades, and project updates to stakeholders.
• Support project planning and smaller initiatives.
