Job summary

VIRTELLIGENCE seeks a Technical Lead with 8+ years of IT experience in clinical, cybersecurity, or related domains to guide architecture, design, and delivery of healthcare solutions.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to shape roadmaps, manage projects, and advance Epic implementations, including patient-facing workflows such as MyChart, Cadence, and Healthy Planet.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural expertise, direction, and industry knowledge to support optimally functioning teams and tools that contribute to organizational goals.
• Collaborate with leadership to manage optimization and process-improvement opportunities.
• Lead discussions focused on problem identification, resolution options, and cross-team collaboration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on complex workflows, upgrades, system changes, and enhancements to outline capabilities and required decisions.
• Communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with stakeholders to reach consensus when appropriate.
• Develop and monitor team goals and objectives, including delegating tasks as needed.
• Develop long-term technical roadmaps and short-term tactical plans for IT tools and applications.
• Evaluate, document, and present solution requirements, estimated durations, and risks associated with design choices.
• Deliver ongoing education to build team knowledge and expertise.
• Provide input to management regarding hiring decisions and performance coaching.
• Lead projects or cross-functional sections of projects as assigned.

Job Summary

Utilizing significant technical experience and expertise, the Technical Lead supports an application or infrastructure team with planning, system analysis, design, application build, testing, maintenance, support, and completion of assigned project work.This role is critical to solution development and technical strategy, with a focus on necessary product evolution. The Technical Lead applies knowledge of healthcare workflows and customer needs within their domain to inform recommendations for solutions and service implementation.

Manager Notes & Hiring Priorities

Minimum Experience 8+ years of IT experience Function-specific experience may include Clinical, Cybersecurity, Network, or related technical domains.

Priority Qualifications

• Alignment with evolving digital health trends.
• Experience leading patient and stakeholder experience initiatives.
• Patient-facing Epic build experience, particularly with: MyChart Cadence Healthy Planet Ambulatory (AMB) Experience independently leading Epic build initiatives.
• Experience with customer ideation and solutioning for needs that cross multiple applications.
• Experience partnering with operations to develop solutions such as: Patient outreach campaigns Digital therapeutic workflows Patient engagement initiatives Self-scheduling and MyChart messaging workflows.
• Certifications Two Epic certifications are required. Additional certifications, including Ambulatory and Cadence, may be considered and are beneficial for understanding patient engagement workflows such as self-scheduling and MyChart messaging.

Education Required

Bachelor's degree O REquivalent professional experience.

Preferred Master's Degree

Required Certifications & Licensure Two or more Epic certifications, as approved by department leadership.
