Job summary

Agemark is seeking a Medication Aide to safely administer medications at CountryHouse Lincoln II in Lincoln, NE. You will document administration, monitor residents, and support daily needs with dignity and independence.

We value compassionate care, teamwork, and clear communication. This role requires weekend/holiday availability and the ability to contribute to a warm, home-like community for residents.

Qualifications

• Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification or equivalent based on state requirements.
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in working with older adults.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications according to physician orders and resident care plans.
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain resident records.
• Observe residents for changes in condition or concerns and communicate them to the appropriate team members.
• Assist residents with daily needs while promoting dignity, independence, and choice.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Jump in, lend a hand, and help create a community where residents feel at home.
