Job summary

CountryHouse Lincoln II is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to administer medications safely and support residents in a compassionate, team-based environment. You will document administration, monitor residents, and communicate changes to the care team.

Join our EPIC-focused team and help create a home-like community where residents feel valued, respected, and cared for. Evening and weekend coverage is required as part of this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Must have an active 40-hour Medication Aide certification or equivalent per state requirements.
• Demonstrates compassion, patience, and genuine interest in working with older adults.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for resident care.
• Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation are required.
• Dependability and willingness to jump in to help as needed.
• Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications according to physician orders and resident care plans.
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain resident records.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and communicate with the team.
• Assist residents with daily needs while promoting dignity and independence.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Actively contribute to a home-like community for residents.
