Required Skills:

• Five or more years of software engineering experience
• Proven hands‑on experience building integrations with Epic healthcare systems
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, and APIs
• Strong backend engineering skills and systems‑level thinking
• Experience partnering directly with healthcare organizations and clients to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical and workflow challenges

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience developing products involving referral, patient, provider, scheduling, or clinical workflow data within Epic
• Exposure to integrating multiple healthcare organizations and Epic environments
• Work experience with medical AI or healthcare technology products
• Skills in extracting and utilizing information from unstructured healthcare documents such as PDFs and images
• Broader experience with other EHR platforms beyond Epic

Preferred Education and Experience:

• A degree in computer science, healthcare informatics, or a related field is preferred
• Extensive prior experience in healthcare integration projects, especially with Epic and related standards

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to engage in cross‑functional collaboration across technical and clinical teams
• Ability to adapt to various healthcare technology environments and configurations
• Prior experience leading projects from discovery through deployment is highly desirable
