RWJBarnabas Health in Oceanport, NJ is hiring an Application Analyst I to support design, build, configuration, testing, and documentation of assigned applications under guidance. You will assist with workflow builds, go-live support, and on-call coverage while escalating complex issues.

The role requires an associate’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience and a Hospital Billing Epic certification; 1–2 years of healthcare IT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Certification in Hospital Billing - Epic.
• 1–2 years of application, system build, or healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports design, build, configuration, testing, documentation, and operational support of assigned applications.
• Participates in workflow review sessions to understand business needs and apply build standards.
• Uses established guidelines to support build decisions and environment synchronization.
• Participates in unit, application, integration, upgrade, and enhancement testing; documents results and troubleshooting outcomes.
• Provides basic go-live and on-call support, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Maintains clear ticket communication with customers and documents incidents and enhancements.
• Documents system modifications and changes with proper version control.
• Follows change control and escalation processes for timely resolution.
• Assists with training materials and change readiness documentation.
