Qualifications

• 3+ years of HIM/acute care experience required.
• Strong Epic proficiency.
• Associates degree in Health Information Management preferred.
• RHIA/RHIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the department's Epic super-user, providing hands-on training, onboarding new hires, and creating workflow guides for system updates.
• Act as the primary support contact for Epic end-users and coordinate with IT to resolve issues.
• Drive efficient daily use of integrated Epic HIM workflow to streamline operations.
• Assist in daily chart reconciliation and workflow coordination, including log daily discharge lists and assign staff tasks.
• Collaborate with data integrity analysts for chart corrections and EMPI maintenance.
