Job summary

Healthrise is seeking an HB Certified Epic Analyst to lead design, configuration, and optimization of HB workflows that drive compliant and efficient revenue cycle performance. The role blends Epic HB build with real-world payer rules, work queues, and daily production volume to support frontline staff.

You will own build components, collaborate with billing and denials teams, and support go-lives and upgrades across client environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in healthcare administration or related field.
Active HB certification required.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on Epic HB build experience in a live production environment.
Working knowledge of UB-04, CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and revenue codes.
Willingness to travel to client or organizational sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Designs, builds, tests, and maintains HB configuration, including charge router rules and account-level workflows.
Designs and manages work queue structure, routing logic, and assignment rules to optimize productivity.
Configures Bridges/BCB interfaces, statement processing, and remittance workflows.
Uses reporting tools to build ad hoc reports, monitor build performance, and identify breakdowns.
Supports go-lives, system upgrades, optimization projects, and testing.
Develops and maintains build documentation, SOPs, and change-control artifacts.
