Job summary

Healthrise is seeking an HB Analyst to design, configure, and optimize Epic Resolute Hospital Billing workflows. You will own HB build components, including charge routing, work queues, and statement workflows, while collaborating with billing, coding, and denial teams.

Ideal candidates hold Epic HB certification and have 3+ years of hands-on HB build in production. Travel to client sites may be required as part of go-lives and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Active Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) certification.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Epic HB build in production.
• Working knowledge of UB-04, CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and revenue codes.
• Experience with work queues, charge router, claims edits, Bridges/BCB workflows.
• Familiarity with Epic reporting tools for build validation.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, tests, and maintains HB configuration (charges, edits, workflows).
• Designs and manages work queue structure, routing logic, and assignment rules.
• Configures Bridges/BCB interfaces and remittance workflows.
• Builds ad hoc reports and monitors build performance with Epic tools.
• Collaborates with billing, coding, denials, and client operations teams.
