Job summary

GHR Healthcare is seeking an experienced Epic Hospital Billing (HB) Lead Analyst to provide functional and technical leadership for the HB module, serving as the subject matter expert and driving design, configuration, optimization, and ongoing support.

This role collaborates with Revenue Cycle, Patient Financial Services, Clinical Operations, and IT leadership to improve billing workflows, implement upgrades, and ensure compliant, efficient charge capture and claims processing.

Qualifications

HB certification is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of Epic HB experience.
Strong knowledge of HB configuration and charge capture.
Experience leading healthcare Epic HB implementations or upgrades.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, build, configuration, testing, and optimization of Epic HB functionality.
Mentor HB analysts and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, PFS, Clinical Operations, and IT to improve billing workflows.
Monitor performance and drive improvements in revenue cycle outcomes.
Lead UAT, go-live planning, and post-implementation support.
