Job summary

314e seeks an Epic Instructional Designer to drive curriculum development and end-user training for Epic applications. You will design engaging instructional content, build training environments, and collaborate with Epic trainers to rollout updates.

The role requires 3+ years in instructional design with Epic certification and strong communication skills. Travel may be needed, and the position supports a USA-wide remote work model.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in curriculum development, instruction, or training facilitation preferred.
• Experience with adult education.
• Experience with multimedia education tools (Adobe Captivate/Camtasia).
• Certified in at least one Epic application; 2-3 years’ Epic SuperUser/implementation experience; 5-7 years if no Epic experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in curriculum development and training material creation.
• Develop and validate Epic training environments (live/production).
• Collaborate with the Epic Training Manager on materials and inputs.
• Create a skills assessment program for the Epic system.
• Evaluate assessment results and update training accordingly.
• Provide employee education based on assessed learning needs.
• Coordinate logistics for training delivery and LMS updates.
• Lead end-user training sessions and provide ongoing support.
• Communicate Epic EHR changes to end users clearly.
• Independently lead ongoing training sessions and materials.
