Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking an Instructional Designer EHR to design and implement a broad range of Epic-based training and education materials for staff.

You will translate content into diverse delivery formats, develop curricula, and collaborate with Epic teams to align training with production environments. Engagement includes project management and routine travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in adult education, training and development, HR, medical or related field.
• Master’s degree in education or instructional design preferred.
• Epic knowledge or experience preferred; Epic analyst certification required within 6 months from hire.
• Demonstrated success in curriculum design and development.
• Experience with relational and web-based databases beneficial.
• Proficiency in productivity software, web-based authoring systems, graphics software and multimedia applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a wide range of courses (asynchronous, synchronous, virtual and in person).
• Develop new education curriculum for Epic Training environment (MST) and CMS upgrades.
• Translate content to new delivery formats and maintain resources and materials.
• Collaborate with Epic, application teams and staff to ensure realistic training scenarios.
• Manage projects and track progress; serve as performance consultant for designated areas.
• Travel to other Mayo sites as needed.
