Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a contract analyst to build and maintain hospital, professional, and ASC contracts in Epic, identifying underpayments and explaining errors to payors.

You will support senior analysts, manage underpayment AR, collaborate with Revenue Cycle and Finance, and assist in reimbursement impact analyses. A related degree and healthcare contracting experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include an Associate's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, statistics, or related field.
• Experience in finance, contracting, or data analysis is expected.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data across financial results, operational metrics, and clinical outcomes.
• Ability to handle large datasets and extract strategic insights for business operations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to progress on key projects with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Supports senior analysts in building hospital, professional, and ASC contracts in Epic (40%).
• Manages underpayment AR for assigned payors and recovers underpaid accounts (25%).
• Collaborates with Revenue Cycle and Finance on contract building and analyses (25%).
• Assists in analyses supporting reimbursement impact (10%).
