This position is an independent contributing information technology professional responsible for planning, developing, testing, installing, maintaining, and optimizing applications and related information technologies. The role includes establishing, developing, and promoting standard architectures, hardware, and software components. The professional will develop clinical and business solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communication flows, supporting user needs, and coordinating support requests within the IS department. Acts as a liaison among IS, clinical end users, patient care departments, vendors, and technical experts. Supports efforts to ensure safe patient care by developing and delivering clinically and technically sound solutions for customer technology needs. Recommends process changes based on risk and failure analysis, modifying workflows and procedures to maximize system advantages.
