Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking an intermediate IT systems analyst to analyze procedures within manual and automated health care systems and to formulate system scope and objectives. You will confer with professional staff to define requirements and assist in writing programming specifications.

The role requires analytical, verbal and written communication skills, familiarity with Epic/OnBase or HL7 tools, and potential travel to satellite locations or vendor sites.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Information Sciences or a related area with 2+ years of system experience.
• In lieu of degree, 4+ years experience with systems relative to the area.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication and professional interaction skills.
• Travel to satellite locations and vendor sites may be required.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and implementation.
