Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate in Atlanta seeks an Application Coordinator to design, build, test, validate, and support Epic clinical or revenue cycle applications. The role requires Epic certification and knowledge of workflows, with periodic 24/7 on-call availability for tier III support.

You will collaborate with clinical and financial teams, establish key relationships within the Information Services group, and help implement future-state processes on the Epic platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or current clinical licensure in nursing, radiology, pharmacy, respiratory or related field is Required.
• In Lieu of degree or clinical licensure, four (4) years of experience in business administration, information technology or science, healthcare or related field Required.
• Current Epic certification Required or Active Epic proficiency achieved with a score of 90 Preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of clinical and/or revenue cycle applications.
• Obtain Epic certification and maintain knowledge of software functionality and clinical/revenue cycle workflows.
• Be on-call periodically on a 24/7 basis to provide tier III level support of Epic applications.
• Collaborate with clinical/financial departments to design future-state workflows and build the system to support the new workflow.
