Job summary
Renown Health is seeking a Senior Application Specialist for Epic Beacon and Cellular Therapy to lead analysis, design, and implementation of critical clinical applications. You will partner with health-system users to resolve technical issues and drive optimization across multiple projects.
Ideal candidates have a health/science/business degree and 4+ years in healthcare IT, with 2+ in Epic Beacon configurations and deployments; Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health, science, or business, or an equivalent level of professional experience.
- 4-6 years experience in application configuration/design, with at least 2 years in the application and related implementations.
- 4+ years experience in a healthcare setting, physician practice or hospital preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Project, Word).
Responsibilities
- Lead analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of new and existing application systems.
- Oversee design, configuration, testing and supporting files within assigned products and scope.
- Coordinate and communicate with Business Owners and Project Managers on project plans and status.
- Develop documentation, training materials and process flows for business units.
- Collaborate with user community to resolve technical problems and optimize system performance.
