Job summary

VHC Health is seeking an Epic Applications Security Analyst to join our information security team. The role focuses on protecting Epic system assets, coordinating security efforts across Epic apps, and ensuring secure Hyperspace logins for authorized users.

The candidate will respond to security incidents, assess risks, and implement practical controls. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years in IT or security are expected, with Epic security experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or information systems management, or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of additional related experience may substitute the educational requirement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the safety of information systems assets, focusing on Epic system security.
• Coordinate security efforts between Epic application teams and ensure authorized users can login to Hyperspace securely.
• Respond to, analyze, and resolve information security issues, incidents, and events.
• Identify and evaluate risks and threats, and recommend strengthening measures.
