Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 7+ years healthcare IT experience implementing and supporting revenue cycle or billing apps.
• Recent Epic implementations in complex healthcare settings required.
• Experience leading Epic application and technical teams through full lifecycle (design to stabilization).
• Experience coordinating cross-team dependencies across billing, finance, payer, health plan, tech and operations.
• Strong understanding of professional billing, claims, remittance and payer requirements.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, staffing plans and deliverables.
• Change management and executive communication experience; translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Epic certification/ accreditation preferred; ability to obtain within program timelines.
• PMP or comparable certification preferred.
• Experience with public health systems, safety-net institutions, or government healthcare organizations preferred.
• Experience in consulting or staff augmentation environments preferred.

Clarity Partners is seeking an Epic Applications & Project Manager to provide dedicated leadership and oversight for Epic professional billing and related health plan applications. In this role, you will lead revenue cycle application build, billing and claims workflows, testing, dependencies, readiness, go-live, and transition to ongoing operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field required; equivalent progressively responsible experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible healthcare IT experience, including significant experience implementing and supporting revenue cycle or billing applications.
• Recent, hands-on experience leading Epic implementations within academic medical centers, safety-net hospitals, large integrated health systems, or similarly complex healthcare environments required.
• Current or very recent experience leading Epic application and technical teams through the full implementation lifecycle, including design, build, testing, readiness, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
• Experience leading complex revenue cycle application projects and coordinating dependencies across billing, finance, payer, health plan, technical, operational, vendor, and subcontractor teams.
• Strong understanding of professional billing, claims, remittance, reimbursement, payer requirements, and membership processes, as well as application lifecycle management, testing, and implementation readiness.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and application resources, including priorities, milestones, risks, issues, and implementation deliverables.
• Strong organizational change management and end-user adoption experience, supported by excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for clinical, financial, and business audiences.
• Direct experience with Epic Resolute Professional Billing, PB Claims and Remittance, Tapestry (including Membership Loading), Healthy Planet for Health Plans, or closely related revenue cycle functionality strongly preferred.
• Epic certification or accreditation in a relevant application area preferred; ability to obtain required Epic certification or accreditation within established program timelines required.
• PMP or comparable project management certification preferred.
• Experience working with public health systems, safety-net institutions, or county or government healthcare organizations preferred.
• Previous experience in a consulting or staff augmentation environment preferred.

Clarity is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For the Epic Applications & Project Manager, the base salary pay range is $125,000 - $145,000. The range represents a good faith estimate that Clarity reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of posting. Compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
