VCU Health is seeking an Applications Analyst-Staff to manage analysis, design, implementation, operation, deployment, and support of IT resources across the health system.

The role requires broad SDLC knowledge, experience with clinical workflows and revenue cycle, and the ability to lead cross-functional design sessions. Epic certification within 90 days is preferred, with focus on maintaining system standards and inclusive practices.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of system development life cycle and application development experience.
• Understanding of workflows in at least one central application area and monitoring/troubleshooting tools.
• Broad knowledge of clinical areas and/or revenue cycle interfaces.
• Ability to lead joint design and development with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with general-purpose systems and related tools.

Responsabilités

• Supports analysis, design, implementation, operation, deployment and support of IT resources.
• Designs and builds systems to meet user needs within IT architecture.
• Collects and analyzes user information; defines scope and objectives for system procedures.
• Writes system and configuration specifications for implementation.
• Creates and maintains technical documentation for users and operations.
• Performs impact assessment and supports remediation efforts.
• Collaborates with seniors for validation and testing of solutions.
• Leads design sessions with end-users and cross-functional teams.
