NYU Langone Health is seeking an Epic Application Lead in New York to oversee application implementations. You will manage deliverables, lead a team, and ensure best practices across Epic systems.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Epic Application Lead. The Epic Application Lead meets or exceeds the accountabilities of the Senior Analyst 2 role. As the first step in the leadership ladder, this position is accountable to the Manager and/or Director for delegation and oversight of deliverables and completion of tasks as assigned. The lead facilitates integrated processes and workflow changes across the enterprise, maintains an in-depth knowledge of assigned Epic software and workflows, and serves as a liaison between end users and Epic implementation staff. The role provides guidance and training to junior staff and actively engages in ensuring consistent standards and efficiency across the system. This position focuses on optimization and priority lists for specific clinical areas, manages change management and product functionality, and mentors analysts on the team.
To qualify, you must have strong written and oral communication skills, advanced analytical skills, and experience implementing Epic applications. You should possess strong interpersonal relationship skills, good process design experience, and be able to mentor staff while adhering to documentation and workflow standards. Basic project management skills (leading meetings, prioritizing, resolving conflicts, maintaining an issues list, managing a project plan) are required. You must lead discovery initiatives to identify appropriate system solutions. A bachelor’s degree in business or IT and 3–5 years of related work experience are required. Epic application lead certification and healthcare experience are mandatory.
Additional workflow certifications and healthcare experience are preferred.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York State Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $121,792.21 - $166,130.83 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range does not include bonuses, differential pay, or other compensation or benefits.
