Job summary

Business Center 2 seeks an Epic Inpatient Analyst to support the Epic application within the Inpatient team. You will design, build, and test workflows to meet end-user needs and provide technical guidance in the implementation and operation of the system.

Responsibilities include organizing and scheduling major/complex computer system tasks, collaborating with UH staff, and maintaining productive relationships. Healthcare experience is preferred, and the Epic pre-assessment test must be passed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Epic application analyst experience preferred.
• Experience specifically in Epic Inpatient systems preferred.
• Must pass Epic pre-assessment test.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Acts as the primary support contact for their Epic application in the Inpatient team. Designs, builds, and tests the system to achieve workflow requirements to meet end user needs. Provides computer technical expertise, project management, technical guidance and direction in the implementation and operation of the computer system. Organizes and schedules a variety of major and/or complex computer system tasks, including programming, in a timely and proficient manner. Individual must maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and other UH staff and perform other duties as assigned or defined in the performance evaluation and in the UH policies and procedures.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE

Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Experience as an Epic application analyst preferred but not required. Experience specifically in Epic Inpatient systems applications preferred. Work experience may be substituted for formal education requirement. Will be required to successfully pass the Epic pre-assessment test.
