Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an Epic Analyst to configure, test, and maintain Epic and related clinical applications in a healthcare setting. You will collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical users to drive system usage and acceptance, while handling complex configurations and ensuring reliable performance.

The role requires Epic certification in at least one module (or ability to obtain within six months), a BA/BS in a related field, and 1–3 years of relevant healthcare IT or clinical workflow

Qualifications

  • Epic certification in at least one module or the ability to obtain certification within six months of hire.
  • BA/BS in a related field (Arts/Sciences).
  • 1–3 years experience in clinical, operational, or financial workflows relevant to the supported module.
  • 1–3 years experience in healthcare IT or clinical operations.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Epic clinical applications with a focus on collaboration and system performance.
  • Build relationships with hospital leadership, clinical department users, and corporate departments to drive usage and acceptance.
  • Handle complex build/configuration tasks, resolve advanced issues, and support reliable application availability.
  • Design, verify, document, refactor software configurations, investigate issues, develop/test plans, and evaluate design options.
