Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators is seeking a middle school math teacher to deliver instruction to classes of 14–25 students and implement district curricula with fidelity.

You will collaborate with a co-teacher to meet accommodations for students with special needs, and participate in regular monthly meetings with the math department and grade level teams to ensure consistent learning goals and alignment.

Qualifications

• Licensed to teach middle school math in IL or have a plan/timeline to obtain licensure under provisional license.
• Ability to work with a co-teacher to ensure accommodations for students with special needs.
• Familiarity with district curriculum and ability to implement with fidelity.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate grade level math instruction to classes of 14–25 students.
• Work with grade level co-teacher to ensure accommodations/modifications for instruction of students with special needs are met.
• Meet monthly with math department to discuss curriculum planning, learning goals, and student achievement.
• Meet monthly with grade level team to ensure uniformity across grade level.
• Other duties as assigned by administration during contractual hours.

Job description

• Meet monthly with math department to discuss curriculum planning, learning goals, and student achievement.
• Meet monthly with grade level team to ensure uniformity across grade level.
• Other duties as assigned by administration during contractual hours.

Qualifications

Licensed to teach students in middle school math in IL, or have a specific plan and timeline to obtain licensure while under a provisional license.

Salary/Benefits

• Starting salary base 2025-26 SY of $45,500 (9% TRS included) for a first year teacher, additional salary paid for experience and education level as laid out in the EPG Collective Bargaining Agreement CBA .
• EPG's existing 4 year CBA will expire at the end of the 25-26 SY. We will be negotiating a new agreement that will begin with the 25-26 SY.
