Berklee College of Music seeks a self-motivated tutor for the EPD program to assist students in music production and sound design. You will meet with students individually or in small groups, explaining concepts from EPD core courses and helping them navigate software used in class such as Logic Pro, GarageBand, FM7, Reaktor, Pro Tools, Kontakt, Ableton Live, and Max.

The EPD office is looking for a self-motivated, responsible person to provide tutoring for EPD students.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate an ability to explain concepts taught in EPD core courses in music production and sound design, including specific knowledge of software used in class such as Logic Pro, GarageBand, FM7, Reaktor, Pro Tools, Kontakt, Ableton Live, and Max.
They should have a broad understanding of basic computer maintenance, the physics of sound, analog and digital synthesizers, analog and digital recording, sampling, effects processors, and MIDI production.
Meeting with students, both one on one and in groups, and tutoring on a variety of EPD subjects, helping students work through challenges with technology and music production and sound design concepts, scheduling student meetings.
Hourly Rate: $17.51
