Job summary

Faith Technologies Inc. in El Paso, TX, seeks an experienced EPC Project Manager to lead engineering, procurement, construction and closeout phases of industrial and renewable energy projects.

The role demands strong planning, budgeting, and client relationship skills. You will coordinate schedules, budgets, and field teams, develop turnkey project plans, review estimates, and foster client relationships while traveling 20–40% and ensuring safe, profitable delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related Engineering.
  • 10+ years experience in Industrial/Manufacturing Commercial Construction.
  • 5 years in Renewable Energy; 1 year construction estimating.

Responsibilities

  • Leads Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Closeout phases of the projects.
  • Responsible for quality assurance processes are implemented and followed.
  • Responsible for overall development of turn-key project schedules.
  • Responsible for organizing and coordinating work sequencing and schedule coordination with field team.
  • Works with Purchasing Department and vendors to ensure effective material coordination.
  • Identifies and generates new business.
  • Networks, establishes, and maintains customer relationships.
  • Plans, organizes, and staffs electrical/automation/MES construction projects.
  • Ensures that projects are completed profitably, in a timely manner, and according to customer expectations.
  • Reviews outgoing estimates with Estimating Departments to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepares and/or assists with bid packages for solicitation and generates the EPC estimate.
  • Visits various job sites and interacts with Owners, Developers, Partners, Site Leadership, Engineers, Consultants, Crews, and Subcontractors to ensure proper job progress and to support and encourage safe behavior.
  • Effectively delegates to direct reports with proper control systems in place to ensure accountability and to prevent decision making bottlenecks.
  • Acts as coach and developer of talent; as well as skillfully selects and trains those individuals.

About the Role

A Faith Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Project Manager will be responsible for generating new business, networking, and establishing & maintaining customer relationships. The EPC PM will plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner and will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects. The EPC PM will provide the complete and satisfactory execution of the entire project while working directly with the project superintendent and other team members. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, , and Primavera Scheduling and Construction Administration Software preferred.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related Engineering Degree Equivalent technical experience will be considered.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in the Industrial / Manufacturing Commercial Construction Market.
  • Experience: 5 years in the Renewable Energy Market and 1 year of construction estimating experience desired.
  • On site construction experience a plus.
  • Travel: 20-40%
  • Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
