Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Cost Specialist in Houston to monitor financial performance on EPC energy and utility projects. You will develop budgets, track costs, and prepare forecasts to support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities include maintaining EAC/ETC, applying EVM principles, and delivering clear cost reporting. Travel up to 15% domestically and work in-office at Katy Freeway, Houston.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years in cost management and project controls.
• Forecasting, cost control, change management, and risk analysis.
• Convert complex financials into clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and control project costs for EPC energy and utility infrastructure projects.
• Monitor budgets, actual costs, forecasts, and cost trends across multi-year projects.
• Develop EAC and ETC for accurate forecasting.
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to evaluate performance.
• Identify cost risks and deviations and escalate issues to leadership.
• Support change management: change orders, budget transfers, cost impacts.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and technical teams to align financials with plans.
• Prepare cost reports, dashboards, and forecasts for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company processes and standards.
• Utilize JDE, EcoSys, Procore, Excel, and Power BI for tracking.
