Job summary

Westwood Professional Services is seeking an EPC Sr. Project Manager/Director to lead the execution of large, complex EPC projects from award through final completion and turnover.

This role holds accountability for safety, schedule, cost, quality, contractual performance, risk, and client satisfaction, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and major vendors across heavy industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup processes.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, cost management, scheduling, contracts, and change management.
• Knowledge of OSHA and industrial construction safety requirements.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
• Commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to identify problems early and decide in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executives and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership of EPC project execution from award through closeout and turnover.
• Serve as client focal point for project execution, leading owner meetings and status updates.
• Ensure safety compliance and accountability across project leadership and contractors.
• Coordinate engineering across multiple disciplines to support procurement and construction.
• Manage contractor and vendor selection and resolve commercial and schedule issues.
• Direct construction activities and monitor productivity, quality, and progress.
• Maintain integrated EPC schedule and develop recovery plans when needed.
• Oversee budget, forecasts, cash flow, and earn value management.
