Job summary

Stallion Infrastructure Services in Midland, TX is seeking an HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration, and electrical components. You will read blueprints, manage inventory, perform preventive maintenance and tests, and communicate clearly with customers about issues and required solutions.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate documentation, with attention to detail and strong problem solving.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent, plus required certs.
EPA Certification required.
Universal HVAC Certification required.
NATE Certification preferred.
3 years of experience with installation, maintenance & repair of A/C, ventilation and heating units.
Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Installs, maintains and repairs heating, ventilation, and cooling units.
Diagnoses and repairs electronic, mechanical and electrical components of these systems.
Understands company pricing and generates appropriate customer invoice at job site.
Reads and accurately interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
Accurately tracks incoming inventory and documents all installed equipment upon arrival.
Carries out preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on HVAC equipment.
Conducts tests and inspections of products, services, and/or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Obtains customer signature at completion of job. Obtains correct customer information including email address.
Maintains proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
Diagnoses diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations, and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct the issue.
Identifies and reports potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services).
Orders Freon and necessary gases according to regulatory compliance standards.
Handles, disposes and repairs refrigerants without causing problems in the environment.
Readily supplies new installation needs as designed by others or by performing the necessary design calculations to properly size the system.
