Job summary

Stamford Health in Stamford, CT seeks a Fulltime Assistant Nurse Manager for the Electrophysiology Unit to lead clinical operations and ensure high-quality patient care. As ANM, you will supervise staff, coordinate throughput, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while upholding our Planetree values and Magnet alignment.

BSN required with 3+ years of clinical or leadership experience; strong preference for EP specialty.

Qualifications

At least 3 years recent clinical experience.
Recent clinical or leadership experience.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
BSN REQUIRED.
Strongly preferred clinical specialty or leadership certification.

Responsibilities

Supervises the daily delivery of patient care on assigned unit.
Executes on patient experience, safety and care protocols.
Supports patient throughput and length of stay initiatives.
Provides real-time coaching to support clinical effectiveness.
Provides feedback on performance and supports corrective actions.
Collaborates with leadership to support staff engagement and retention.
Makes recommendations on cost savings opportunities.
Prepares work schedules to ensure proper coverage across shifts.
Maintains clinical competency by involvement in patient care and EP procedures.
Supports orientation and ongoing education for new personnel.
Participates in hiring, performance appraisals and quality improvement initiatives.
