Job summary

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital in Brandon, FL is seeking a compassionate Electrophysiology (EP) Technician for a PRN role. You will greet patients, support the EP team, and assist physicians during invasive EP procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology or related field.
• RCIS or RCES certification preferred.
• Two years of Electrophysiology experience.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, arrhythmia identification, hemodynamic changes and all interventional devices/procedures (EP/ablation/coronary/peripheral).

Responsibilities

• Assemble supplies and equipment needed for procedures
• Assist in soothing and positioning patients
• Maintain sterile techniques
• During procedures, monitor the patient as you assist the physician
• After the procedure, gather equipment for cleaning and sterilization
• May also transport patients to recovery

We are currently seeking a caring and compassionate Electrophysiology Technician for a PRN opportunity. As an EP Technician on our team, you will greet our patients, comfort them and transport them to the EP Lab. Once in the lab, you will assist the physician in performing invasive EP procedures. • Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, arrhythmia identification, hemodynamic changes and all interventional devices/procedures (EP/ablation/coronary/peripheral)
