Job summary

Abbott in Plymouth, MN, is seeking an Operator II to perform routine assembly operations in the Electrophysiology (EP) division. You will cast, coat, inspect, and package medical devices, using microscopes and precision tools to ensure quality.

The role includes weekend nights (5:30PM–5:00AM) with possible overtime. Requires a high school diploma and prior device assembly experience; Abbott offers strong health coverage, retirement plans, and education benefits.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of medical device assembly experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Casting/Coating and packaging functions.
• Inspect devices and assemblies for defects and correct issues.
• Assemble and process medical devices using microscopes and precision tools.
• Follow device documentation for accuracy and completeness.
