Job summary
A leading healthcare organization is seeking an Electrophysiology Lab Tech to provide care in the EP lab. Responsibilities include assisting physicians, educating patients, ensuring safety during procedures, and maintaining equipment functions. The ideal candidate must possess an Associates Degree in a relevant field, plus necessary state certifications and a minimum of five years of experience as an EP Technologist. Additional certifications such as BLS and ACLS are also required within specified timeframes.
Qualifications
Associates degree in relevant fields such as Radiologic or Cardiovascular Technology.
At least five years of experience as an EP technologist may substitute for educational requirements.
Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist and Registered Respiratory Therapist licenses required.
Responsibilities
