UF Health is looking for an Electrophysiology Lab Tech to provide care in the EP lab. You'll assist physicians, educate patients, and ensure safety and documentation. The ideal candidate has five years of experience as an EP Technologist and relevant degrees like Radiologic Technology.

Required credentials include Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Floridian licensing. Preferred qualifications include ARRT Certification. This role demands a commitment to patient safety and technical proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an EP Technologist may substitute education requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assists physician during all procedures.
• Educates patients about pending procedures.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Completes documentation prior to procedures.
• Maintains proper equipment function.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
