Job summary

Kootenai Health is seeking an Electrophysiology Technologist to assist during diagnostic EP and advanced implant procedures in the EP lab. You will set up instrumentation, scrub for physicians, monitor patient data, and document results while providing direct patient care under supervision.

Ideal candidates have clinical cardiovascular tech training and EP-specific credentials with on-call availability and the ability to respond within 60 minutes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology.
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist preferred.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides procedure set-up and scrub assistance to physician during diagnostic EP and advanced implant procedures.
• Monitors, interprets, collects and records patient data during procedures.
• Provides patient care as directed by a qualified physician.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology

BLS certification
