Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking an EP Lab Tech for a full-time, day-shift position in Coppell, TX. Typical hours are 6:30am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with no on-call requirement.

You will assist in electrophysiology procedures, monitor patients, and help manage supplies and equipment. The role requires RCIS/RCES/ARRT certifications or equivalent, plus cath lab/EP experience and BLS/ACLS as applicable.

Qualifications

• RCIS/RCES/ARRT certifications required or equivalent.
• Minimum of Cath Lab or EP experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire date or transfer into position.

Responsibilities

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data.
• Scrub assist for all diagnostic and electrophysiology procedures including preparation of supplies and instruments.
• Injection of contrast media and medications from the sterile field as directed by the physician.
• Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy.
• Coordinate procedure schedule as assigned.
• Assist with inventory control as directed by the supervisor/manager.
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Other duties as assigned.
