Job summary

UF Health Jacksonville Hospital is seeking an EP Lab Tech to join a nationally recognized academic health system delivering cardiovascular diagnostic services in support of evaluation and treatment of heart conditions.

You will work with physicians, nurses and staff to prepare patients, maintain sterile fields, monitor equipment, interpret arrhythmias, and provide education to patients and families while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Associate's Degree is required.
• Graduate of Cardiovascular Program or 5+ years Cath Lab/EP experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Must maintain BLS and ACLS certifications; able to obtain RCES/RCIS within 6 months if new graduate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and supplies for cardiac catheterization procedures; anticipate needs.
• Document and report all technical data during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and field during procedures.
• Interpret lethal arrhythmias and perform ACLS as required.
• Be proficient with EP lab equipment and workflows.
