Job summary

Sentara Health is hiring an experienced RN for the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab at Sentara Norfolk General Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA. The role offers a 40-hour week, first shift, with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include specialized care for EP patients, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and adherence to nursing process standards to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with cardiac/critical care experience.
• Virginia RN license required and BLS; ACLS preferred.
• Strong teamwork and patient care in a high-acuity EP/CVICU environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing EP procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs and cardiac team to ensure safety and quality.
• Perform nursing assessments, documentation and post-procedure care.
