Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse with specialization in Electrophysiology to join an EP Lab team in Norfolk, VA. The contract role offers a full-time schedule, 40 hours per week, and the opportunity to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, 2 years of EP Lab experience, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Strong teamwork, patient monitoring, and the ability to adapt in a high-acuity environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent EP Lab experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Proficient in managing invasive cardiac procedures and technologies.
• Ability to monitor patients during EP studies and ablations.
• Excellent collaboration and communication with physicians and procedural teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare EP Lab and assist with EP procedures including device implantation and ablations.
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation per clinical and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, aftercare, and discharge instructions.
• Support a safe, organized environment for high-acuity cardiac patients.
