Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, CO seeks an experienced RN for the Electrophysiology Lab. This on-site role involves direct patient care, pre-procedure preparation, and rapid response to critical events. On-call responsibilities are included, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork in a high-acuity environment.

Requirements include RN licensure, ACLS, and BLS/CPR. Prior ED/ICU/cardiac step-down experience is strongly preferred to join a dedicated EP team.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse licensure in the appropriate state.
• ACLS certification required/strongly preferred.
• BLS required; CPR for Professional Rescuer acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in electrophysiology settings.
• Prepare environment and review patient records before procedures.
• Respond to life-threatening situations per nursing protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
• Maintain safety and utilize critical thinking in fast-paced environments.
