Job summary

UCHealth is hiring an experienced RN for the Electrophys Lab in Aurora, CO. The role is full-time, on-site with on-call duties, and pays $38.91–$60.31 per hour depending on experience.

You will deliver direct patient care in a high-acuity setting and collaborate with a clinical team to ensure safe, effective outcomes. Applicants should have 2+ years of ED/ICU/Cardiac step-down experience, ACLS and BLS certification, and an active RN license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ED/ICU/CV step-down RN experience preferred.
• CICU or EP experience preferred.
• On-call responsibilities required.
• Graduate of an accredited RN program with active RN license.

Responsibilities

• Prepares environment, orients and assesses patient, and reviews medical record to complete safety checklist.
• Responds to life-threatening situations using nursing standards and protocols.
• Provides nursing care in a technically complex environment.
• Assesses learning needs and provides patient/family education appropriate to age and culture.
• Works in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
