Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the EP Lab on the Evening Shift (5 shifts/week). You will perform nursing duties with critical decision-making, develop and implement a comprehensive care plan with the physician or NP, and ensure safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include data collection, education, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, while complying with NYS Act and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care following standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care with provider collaboration.
• Educate patients and families on health status and care plan.
• Document care in electronic health records and ensure safety.
• Contribute to unit quality and throughput metrics.
• Comply with NYS Nurse Practice Act and Joint Commission standards.
