Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO is seeking an Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse to provide nursing care during pre- and post-procedure phases, assist with interventional cardiac procedures, and circulate cases in the Electrophysiology Lab and Cath Lab. Day shift, 24 hours per week across two labs system-wide.

Responsibilities include administering moderate sedation, managing hemodynamics, and conducting point-of-care testing while ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Circulate cases during interventional procedures in the Electrophysiology Lab and Cath Lab.
• Administer moderate sedation, pain medication, and other physician-ordered meds during procedures.
• Perform point-of-care lab testing as ordered and monitor patient hemodynamics.
• Maintain patient safety and coordinate with the team to ensure smooth case flow.
