Job summary

Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix, AZ seeks an RN for Electrophysiology on a full-time day shift to provide professional care in an EP unit. The role includes prolonged late-stay calls to finish procedures, sweet spot for teamwork and patient outcomes.

Requires 1+ year in ED/ICU/procedural settings, ARIZONA RN license, ACLS/BLS, BSN preferred. Cardiac cath/EP experience highly regarded; 12‑hour shifts with no nights or weekends as noted.

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 1+ years Emergency Department, ICU or Procedural setting nursing experience.
• Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Certifications: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in Arizona with ACLS & BLS renewal every two years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
• Delivers age-appropriate bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
• Performs clinical support for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Assists with compiling and reporting procedural information to benchmarking or regulatory agencies.
• Collaborates with the team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Performs various roles including monitoring, scrubbing procedures, and using pacing stimulators.
