Job summary

Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit, with responsibilities across cardiovascular procedures. The role includes late stay call during the week to complete scheduled procedures, with no night, holiday, or weekend call. Shift: 6a-6:30p, 12-hour shifts.

Minimum 1+ year ED/ICU/procedural experience and an active AZ RN license; ACLS/BLS renewals required. Cardiac Cath/EP Lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 1+ years Emergency Department, ICU or Procedural setting nursing experience.
Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
Licenses: Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona; ACLS & BLS per American Heart Association; renewals every two years.

Responsibilities

Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
Renders individualized, age-specific bedside nursing care based on the nursing process.
Performs all aspects of clinical support for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
May assist with compilation and reporting of procedural information to benchmarking, regulatory, or accreditation agencies.
Participates with all team members to provide and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
This position will perform a variety of roles, including monitoring, assisting the physician scrubbing procedures and using the pacing stimulator.
