Job summary

Stormont Vail Health in Kansas seeks an experienced Electrophysiology Nurse for full-time, day shift. The EP nurse provides intra-procedural care, sedation management, and education, following Caring Theory and shared governance. Requires BSN and KS RN license with ACLS/BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BSN required; CMS/CLIA considerations may favor EP lab training.
• Experience: at least 2 years in electrophysiology or related acute care settings (ICU/ED).
• Strong safety, sterility, sedation management and anesthesia support knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and analyzes patient information in EP procedures.
• Develops collaborative care plans to achieve outcomes.
• Delivers professional nursing care guided by Caring Theory and shared governance.
• Educates patients about procedures and post-care expectations.
• Maintains safety and ethical standards; participates in process improvements.
