Job summary

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami is seeking an experienced EP Lab Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiac environment. You will work closely with physicians and managers to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.

Requirements include Florida RN license (or compact), BLS and ACLS, plus at least one year of CVICU/Cath Lab/IR experience. This full-time role offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities to contribute to nursing

Qualifications

  • Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • 1 year minimum acute care experience in CVICU, Cath Lab, IR

Responsibilities

  • Provide proficient, age specific, direct and indirect patient care in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with legal, Hospital practice and departmental policies and procedures, established standards of nursing care and practice, and as defined by the state of Florida. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
